CM Sarma: Singapore Police Probing Zubeen Garg’s Death, Assam to Examine Conspiracy Claims

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma clarified that Singapore police are investigating Zubeen Garg’s death, while Assam will only look into conspiracy allegations. The death certificate cites drowning as the cause. Over 50 FIRs have been filed against NEIF founder Shyamkanu Mahanta and Garg’s manager Siddharth Sarma, now under CID review. The CM urged the public to avoid spreading conspiracy theories and said priority remains on giving Zubeen a dignified farewell.
