Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Hiked by Rs 993

The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 993 from Friday, taking the new rate to Rs 3,071.5 in Delhi. This is the third hike since March amid rising global energy prices linked to the West Asia crisis.

However, domestic LPG cylinder prices for household consumers remain unchanged, according to Indian Oil Corporation. Petrol, diesel, and aviation turbine fuel prices for domestic use have also not been revised.

The Central Government has meanwhile revised export duties on diesel and aviation turbine fuel to ensure adequate domestic fuel availability.
