Customs Seizes Rs 1.53 Crore Worth of Ganja in Kamrup, Assam

In a significant operation, the Customs Department seized 41 bags of ganja valued at approximately Rs 1.53 crore in Assam’s Kamrup district on Saturday. The raid took place at an abandoned residence, leading to the arrest of one individual. The seized ganja weighed over 511 kilograms. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act, and an investigation is ongoing to trace the source and distribution network.
