Cyclone Remal Forces Cancellation of 14 Flights from Guwahati to Kolkata

In response to the severe impact of Cyclone Remal along the coasts of West Bengal and Bangladesh, 14 flights from Guwahati to Kolkata have been cancelled. The cancellations include flights operated by IndiGo, Alliance Air, Air India, and Spicejet. The decision was made to ensure passenger safety amidst forecasts of heavy to very heavy rainfall in northeastern states, with Assam expected to experience extremely heavy rainfall on May 27 and 28, 2024.
