Decomposed Carcass of Royal Bengal Tiger Found in Orang National Park
A decomposed carcass of a full-grown male Royal Bengal Tiger was discovered early this morning in Orang National Park and Tiger Reserve. The park staff found the carcass near the Khairasali Anti-Poaching camp on the bank of the Pachnoi River during routine patrol duty. According to the attending veterinarian, the tiger likely died seven to ten days ago due to old age. Samples were collected for forensic testing during the post-mortem examination, and the carcass was buried with all formalities observed.
