Drug Bust in Nagaon: Two Peddlers Apprehended with Suspected Heroin

Nagaon police apprehended two drug peddlers, Anarul Islam and Moin Uddin, from Doboka in Hojai district at Nowgong College police point. They were found in possession of 37 soap cases filled with suspected heroin, weighing approximately 480 grams each, in a Swift Dzire car. The car was reportedly transporting the contraband from Dimapur in Nagaland to Nagaon district. The estimated value of the seized Class I drug is around Rs 86 lakhs in the local market. One of the peddlers managed to escape during the police operation. Law enforcement has intensified efforts to locate and apprehend the fugitive suspect.
