During rath yatras in Tripura, electric shock claims 7 lives

Seven persons, including three kids, were burnt alive and 20 others received injuries during the ‘Phera Rath Yatra’ (return car festival) in Unokoti district of Tripura. Police said the Tripura toll might go up as six people are critical.

The victims included Ruhan Das, his father Rahul Das, three middle-aged women and two other children – a girl and a boy.
