Two held with heroin worth ₹13.8 crore in Tripura

Tripura Police arrested two individuals and seized over three kg heroin of heroin, estimated to be worth ₹13.8 crore in the international market in Ambassa area of Dhalai district.

The accused, identified as Mahabul Alam and Piklu Bhowmik, were found to be transporting heroin concealed within an improvised cloth bag inside their vehicle. The police intercepted a Mahindra Thar with the registration number TR01 BU 0234 at Naka Point, where they discovered 300 cases of heroin weighing approximately 3.415 kg.
