Farmers from Sivasagar Export Produce to Dubai

Farmers from three producer companies in Sivasagar district, including Dihingporia Mustard Fed Producer Company, Disangmukh Agro Producer Company, and Mitong Krishak Utpadak Company, successfully exported 1,000 kg of lemons and 1,500 kg of pumpkins to Dubai on Thursday.

The export was facilitated by the Sivasagar District Administration and the District Agriculture Department. The event, held at the District Commissioner’s office, was attended by several officials, including Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu and Sivasagar District Commissioner Aayush Garg.

This marks a significant step for the farmers, who have already gained recognition in local markets, as they expand into international trade.
