Father Allegedly Kills Two-Month-Old Baby in Khaplangkusi Village

In a tragic incident at Khaplangkusi village near Barapujia, a two-month-old baby was allegedly killed by his father on Tuesday, according to police reports. The accused, 22-year-old Swaraj Senapati, has been apprehended. The infant’s mother, who was outside doing household chores, claimed that the father beat, punched, and threw the baby to the floor, resulting in his death. Upon discovering the lifeless child, the mother confronted Senapati, who confessed to the crime. The baby was taken to the hospital and declared dead on arrival. A case has been registered by Raha police, and further investigations are ongoing.
