Filmmaker Dhanjit Das to Release ‘Casetu Nagen’ Tomorrow at 2 PM as Situation Improves

Filmmaker Dhanjit Das, known for his unwavering patriotism, had earlier postponed the release of his much-anticipated Assamese film Casetu Nagen in solidarity with the Indian Army. The decision was made during the recent tensions between India and Pakistan, despite strong advance bookings. Das, along with the producer and the entire cast, chose to prioritize the nation over commercial interests.

“The country comes first,” Das said at the time, reflecting a strong sense of national pride and unity. The gesture was widely praised by citizens and supporters of the Indian Armed Forces across the country.

Now, with the situation showing signs of improvement, Das and his team have decided to go ahead with the release of Casetu Nagen. The film will officially hit screens tomorrow at 2 PM.

While moving forward with the release, the team remains committed to honoring the spirit and bravery of the Indian soldiers, expressing gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
