Fire Destroys 15 Shops in Hayuliang Market, Army Assists in Control
A massive fire broke out in Hayuliang market, Anjaw district, at 4 AM on Thursday, reducing 15 shops to ashes. The blaze was controlled by 5:30 AM with the help of the Indian Army’s water tankers. No casualties were reported, but business owners suffered heavy losses. Residents cited a lack of firefighting facilities, as the fire brigade arrived late from Hawai.
