Four Arrested With Rhino Horn Worth Rs 1.2 Crore in Arunachal Pradesh

Police in Arunachal Pradesh arrested four persons in Papum Pare district and seized a rhinoceros horn valued at around Rs 1.2 crore during a joint operation with the forest department.

Officials said the raid was conducted in Hollongi and nearby Assam areas following intelligence inputs about wildlife trafficking. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway to uncover possible interstate or international links.

Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Mama Natung praised the operation and said the government remains committed to curbing wildlife crime and protecting endangered species.
