Gauhati University Honours Wildlife Biologists for Conservation Efforts

Gauhati University, with Paryavaran Sanrakshan, felicitated Dr. Purnima Devi Barman and Prof. Prasanta Kr Saikia for their wildlife conservation contributions. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nani Gopal Mahanta presided over the event. Dr. Barman was honored for her global work with the Greater Adjutant Stork. Prof. Saikia was recognized for inspiring decades of wildlife research. Both urged youth to act selflessly for the environment.
