Gaurav Gogoi Casts Vote with Mother in Jorhat, Expresses Confidence in Outcome

Gaurav Gogoi, Congress candidate from Jorhat, cast his vote on Thursday morning along with his mother Dolly Gogoi at Devicharan Barua Higher Secondary Girls’ School polling station.

Standing in queue with other voters, Gogoi described the moment as personally significant, noting his mother’s presence after missing the previous Lok Sabha polls due to health reasons.

He expressed confidence in a positive outcome, citing strong public enthusiasm and support for progressive ideals and democratic values. Gogoi also highlighted the growing political awareness among voters and reaffirmed his commitment to Assam’s development, inspired by his father, former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.

Dolly Gogoi, after voting, extended her blessings, expressing satisfaction. Jorhat recorded a voter turnout of 18.25% till 9 am.
