Gaurav Gogoi Urges Assam Govt to Declare Roi Roi Binale Tax-Free

Assam Congress president Gaurav Gogoi has urged Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to make Zubeen Garg’s final film Roi Roi Binale tax-free across the state. In his letter, Gogoi said it would honour Zubeen’s contribution to Assam’s cultural heritage and allow wider public access. The film, releasing on October 31 in 46 Indian cities, has set records with ₹50 lakh in pre-release sales and sold-out shows in Guwahati, marking an emotional farewell to the late icon.
