GMDA Offers 50% Fare Discount on Guwahati Ropeway for College Students Amid Floods

In response to the flood situation disrupting travel between North Guwahati and the South Bank of the Brahmaputra, the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has announced a 50% fare discount for college students using the Guwahati Ropeway. Starting from June 18, students can avail of this discount for the next 30 days by presenting a valid college ID card at the ticket counter. This measure aims to ease commuting challenges for students during the flood-like conditions.
