Guwahati feels tremors after a minor earthquake jolts Meghalaya

On Friday at 8:46 a.m., a low-density earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 occurred in Meghalaya.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 14 kilometres deep and was located in Shillong, Meghalaya, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

In the meantime, certain areas of Guwahati, Assam, experienced mild earthquake tremors.
