Guwahati Police Bust Escort Racket, Three Arrested

Guwahati Police arrested three individuals for allegedly running an escort service racket that targeted young women through fake job offers on OLX.

DCP (Central) Shambhavi Mishra identified the accused as Abhiranjan Das (prime accused), Priyanka Roy, and Minakshi Roy. Police said the group used a family setup to gain victims’ trust.

Victims were lured with job promises, then allegedly harassed and forced into illegal activities. The case was registered at the Cyber Police Station, and the accused were arrested from Dispur. Investigation is ongoing.
