NFR Boosts Freight Operations and Revenue in March 2026

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) strengthened its freight and logistics network in March 2026 to improve services and revenue.

A key highlight was the launch of a cargo terminal at Habaipur and expanded operations at Baihata. NFR also handled agricultural and cross-border trade, including potato shipments and maize exports to Bangladesh.

The Lumding division recorded major freight movement in cement, stone chips, fuel, and bamboo, contributing significantly to revenue growth.
