Guwahati Police Solve Yamaha R15 Theft Case Within Three Hours, Two Held

Guwahati, August 7: Guwahati Police have solved a motorcycle theft case within three hours of the complaint being lodged, arresting two accused and recovering the stolen vehicle with assistance from the Meghalaya Police.

According to police, a team from Noonmati Police Station traced and recovered a Yamaha R15 (AS19R9826) shortly after it was reported stolen. The alleged thief, Idul Ali alias Babu Boro (22) of Pathar Quarry, and the alleged receiver, Edilbert Skhemlon (28) of Mawsyinram, Meghalaya, were arrested during the operation.

Police said legal action has been initiated against both accused, while further investigation into the case is underway. The swift recovery was made possible through prompt police action and coordination with the Meghalaya Police.
