Guwahati Women’s ODI Sets Record Attendance with 22,843 Fans

Guwahati’s first women’s ODI saw a record 22,843 spectators as India beat Sri Lanka by 59 runs. The turnout set a new ICC women’s event record. The opening ceremony featured tributes to late singer Zubeen Garg with performances by Papon, Joi Barua, Shreya Ghoshal, and the Shillong Chamber Choir. BCCI also honoured 16 former Indian women cricketers.
