Heavy Rains Damage NH-17 in Kamrup, One Dead in Flooding
Torrential rain and Meghalaya runoff damaged NH-17 near Boko in Kamrup, stranding vehicles and halting traffic. Light vehicles were diverted through village roads. In Chaygaon, the Kalahi river washed away a bridge. Kamrup DC visited affected sites. One person, Epish N Sangma, drowned in the Gijang river near Hahim.
