Himanta Biswa Sarma Reviews Progress of IIM Guwahati Campus with Dharmendra Pradhan

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi to discuss the proposed permanent campus of Indian Institute of Management Guwahati.

The leaders reviewed plans for the new campus, which will be developed at Marabhita near Palasbari in Kamrup district. Sarma said the project is a key step in making Assam a major education hub in eastern India. Pradhan described IIM Guwahati as a future centre for academic excellence, research, innovation and leadership development in the Northeast.
