Illegal Areca Nuts Worth ₹29 Lakh Seized in Mizoram

Assam Rifles, along with the Customs Preventive Force, seized illegal areca nuts worth ₹29.12 lakh in Champhai district of Mizoram. The operation was conducted on April 13 in Ruantlang based on specific inputs, recovering 52 bags of contraband.

The seized goods have been handed over for further investigation, as authorities continue efforts to curb illegal trade along the Indo-Myanmar border.
