IMD Warns of Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain in Northeast India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for the Northeast region over the next 24 hours. Thunderstorms and lightning are expected in isolated areas of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Heavy rain is likely in parts of South Assam, Meghalaya, and Manipur. In Guwahati, the forecast predicts a partly cloudy sky with possible thunderstorms, with temperatures expected to reach a maximum of 38°C and a minimum of 26°C.
