In anticipation of New Year’s festivities, Assam Police enhances traffic safety measures.

In order to prevent drunk driving incidents that result in accidents during the New Year’s festivities, the Assam Police has expanded the use of breath analyzers and traffic interceptor vehicles.

Rumour has it that 10 more cars were added to the fleet of interceptors on Friday in order to handle traffic violations, and 150 upgraded breath analyzers have been authorised for the coming days.

In addition, efforts to prevent drunk driving will persist until the conclusion of the Bihu celebrations in order to guarantee a joyous occasion free from road rage and mishaps.
