India to Launch Cancer Vaccine for Women in Six Months

Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav announced that a vaccine to prevent cancers in women will be ready within six months. Targeting girls aged 9-16, the vaccine aims to reduce breast, mouth, and cervical cancer cases.

The government will also introduce cancer screenings for women over 30 and expand daycare cancer facilities. Additionally, customs duty on cancer drugs has been removed to make treatments more affordable. Experts believe this vaccine will be a major step in reducing cancer cases in India.
