Indian Army Conducts Pre-Recruitment Training for Upper Assam Youth

The Indian Army, under the aegis of the Spear Corps, conducted a three-week pre-recruitment training program aimed at inspiring Upper Assam youth to join as Agniveers. The program culminated on Friday.

The initiative began with an initial screening to identify aspirants meeting educational and physical criteria, which saw enthusiastic participation. Selected candidates underwent comprehensive training, including physical conditioning, written exam preparation, personality development, progress assessments, and interactions with serving soldiers.

The final screening test comprised physical tests, medical check-ups, and written examinations. Identified potential recruits will be monitored to keep them motivated. The Indian Army aims to continue such initiatives to benefit the entire community in the future.
