Jayanta Das, a veteran Assamese actor, passes away
The 54-year-old Assamese actor Jayanta Das passed away in Guwahati on Saturday night.
Sources claim that Jayanta Das was in extremely critical condition upon his admission to a private hospital, suffering from a number of illnesses, including liver disease.
His final ceremonies were held at Guwahati’s Navagraha cemetery.
