Jorhat-Majuli Bridge to Be Completed in Two Years After New Tender

After a fresh tender was issued, MoRTH and Assam PWD aim to complete the Jorhat-Majuli bridge in two years. The previous contractor left the project incomplete with only 32% done. Bids close on July 7, 2025, and work is likely to restart by October. A 3-year defect liability period will follow completion.
