Kaziranga Orchid Park Introduces Buffalo Cart Safaris to Boost Rural Tourism

The Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park has introduced buffalo and bullock cart safaris to showcase Assam’s rural life and diversify tourism beyond wildlife. The new safaris were inaugurated by advocate Shantanu Borthakur.
Park chairman Akhil Gogoi said the initiative aims to promote agri-tourism and indigenous culture alongside nature-based experiences. The park also plans trekking, cycling tracks and bird-watching sites to make Kaziranga a multi-dimensional tourism destination.
