Land fraud: Four circle offices in Kamrup (M) district were raided simultaneously.

A series of cases involving land document fraud are arising. In relation to that, multiple suspects have been taken into custody by the Crime Branch in Guwahati. Four Circle Offices in the Kamrup (M) district were simultaneously raided by the Crime Branch on Thursday. The Crime Branch conducted a day-long investigation in Azara, Chandrapur, Dispur, and Guwahati circle offices separately after receiving input on the process of the fake land documents.
