Landslide Halts Train Services in Assam’s Dima Hasao

Train services in Assam’s Dima Hasao district were suspended after a landslide near Mupa station blocked tracks in the Lumding–Badarpur section. Around 30 large boulders and 100 cubic meters of earth fell on the tracks. Multiple trains, including the Silchar–Guwahati Express, have been detained. Debris removal is underway with JCBs and excavators. Help desks have been set up at key stations, and services will resume after complete clearance.
