Major Heroin Bust in Karimganj: Anti-Narcotics Operation Leads to Arrest and Seizure

In response to specific information, an anti-narcotics operation was initiated at Chargola area under Karimganj Police Station on Saturday. The operation resulted in the interception of a vehicle with registration number MZ 04 A 4827, leading to the discovery of 55 soap boxes containing approximately 700 grams of Heroin concealed in secret chambers within the vehicle. The authorities apprehended one individual, identified as Christopher Zochhuana, son of Brian Clinton Dawson, from Tlangsam Police Station under the Champhai district, in connection with the drug bust.
