Man detained for thrashing kids on suspicion of stealing phone

In a horrifying incident on Saturday, a businessman from Dhekiajuli, Assam, severely beat two small children on the pretext that they had stolen a cell phone.

In Dhekiajuli town, the incident happened close to a hotel. Dadul Sharma, the perpetrator, brutally beat the kids in front of the police.

The man was later taken into custody by the police for purportedly violating the law.
