Man Dies After Road Accident in Sootea

Ananta Bhuyan of LB Road, Sootea, suffered serious injuries in a road accident near a petrol pump in Gereki on Sunday night. Locals found him unconscious on NH15 and alerted the police. He was taken to Biswanath Chariali Sub-divisional Civil Hospital and later referred to Tezpur Medical College, where he succumbed to his injuries. His body was brought home on Monday.
