Manas National Park Suspends River Rafting and Elephant Safari Amid Declining Tourist Arrivals

Manas National Park will temporarily close its river rafting and elephant safari activities starting May 20, according to a forest ranger’s announcement on Sunday. The jeep safari will remain available until June 5. The closure follows a decline in tourist visits after the peak season. Previously, park authorities had declared that all tourism activities, including elephant safaris, river rafting, and jeep safaris, would be suspended from June 5 until further notice.
