Manav Seva Mission: E-Rickshaws Distributed to Differently-abled Individuals in BTR for Economic Empowerment

In a move to enhance opportunities for economic and social development among the differently-abled population, a ceremonial distribution of e-rickshaws was organized in Dimalgaon, Kokrajhar, under the Manav Seva Mission scheme. The Department of Women and Child Development, BTC, orchestrated the event, where 60 beneficiaries from Kokrajhar, Chirang, and Tamulpur received e-rickshaws.

BTR Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro, along with BTR Executive Members Gautam Das and Reoreoa Narzihary, attended the program and handed over the keys to the beneficiaries. Gautam Das, the BTR Executive Member in charge of the Social Welfare Department, emphasized that the scheme aims to provide support and opportunities for the differently-abled individuals, enabling their economic and social development. He highlighted that the initiative not only fosters self-reliance but also contributes to poverty reduction and unemployment alleviation in the region.
