Manipur Congress Opposes Mizoram CM’s Call for Kuki-Zo Unified Leadership

The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has criticized Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma’s recent statement advocating unified leadership for the Kuki-Zo community. MPCC spokesperson Hareshwar Goswami condemned Lalduhoma’s comments made during a Kuki diaspora event in the U.S., stating they undermine India’s unity and integrity. Hareshwar accused Lalduhoma of promoting divisive sentiments by suggesting unification of Kuki people across India, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. He also questioned the silence of the BJP governments and urged action to safeguard the nation’s integrity.
