Massive Fire Engulfs Residence and Vehicle in Guwahati’s Beltola, Property Losses in Lakhs

A substantial fire broke out in Guwahati’s Beltola locality, engulfing House no 44 on Ashok Path and a four-wheeler with registration number AS 01 DJ 3162. The incident, suspected to have originated from a rented room in house no. 44, caused extensive property damage worth lakhs of rupees. Fortunately, no individuals were present at the residence during the fire. The adjacent house no. 43 experienced minor damage, with no reported injuries or casualties. The fire-fighting personnel are on the scene, conducting rescue operations, and the suspected cause of the fire is a short circuit inside the room.
