Mentally Challenged Youth Killed by Family in Assam

In Assam’s Karimganj district, a mentally challenged youth, Sohail Ahmed, was brutally killed by his parents and aunt. The incident, captured on video, shows his mother, Diluwara Begum, beating him with sticks. The family then burned his body and disposed of it in a local pond. Locals suspect the family acted because Sohail was seen as a burden and involved in petty crimes. Police have recovered the body but have not yet arrested the culprits.
