Minister Urges AKRSU to Reconsider Assam Bandh Plan

Hazarika assured AKRSU of talks with the Chief Minister after his international tour for Advantage Assam 2.0. Efforts like reserved medical seats and expanded educational access for the community were highlighted. AKRSU announced the bandh due to delays in granting ST status, a long-pending issue for six communities since 2014.
