Miscreants Arrested in Golaghat After Blank Firing and Dhaba Turmoil
A group of five miscreants was apprehended in Sarupathar, Golaghat district, Assam, for allegedly engaging in blank firing and causing disturbance at Aicheng Dhaba on Saturday night. The individuals, demanding alcohol, instigated a brawl with the dhaba staff, leading to blank firing when denied service. Two miscreants were captured by dhaba workers and handed over to Sarupathar Police, prompting the other three to flee. The police pursued and seized their vehicles near Uriamghat Police Station and Kaziranga’s Bagori area. The arrested individuals, including the one responsible for blank firing, have been identified, and an investigation into the incident is underway. The seized vehicles are a Fortuner (AS 06 AD 6566) and a Toyota Hilux (RJ 45 CY 7178).
