A 17-year-old girl who went missing from Guwahati’s Harijan Colony in the Rupnagar area has been found in Assam’s Nagaon district. The incident occurred on February 17, 2024, prompting the girl’s family to file a complaint at Bhangagarh police station. A subsequent police operation led to the discovery of the girl in Nagaon’s Gorubazar in Dhing. Reports suggest that the teenager had eloped with a youth under the guise of a romantic relationship.
