Missing Jorhat Woman Found Dead in Jharkhand, Mystery Deepens

Malvika Bora, a woman from Jorhat who went missing on August 12, was found dead near a railway track in Jharkhand. Her body was recovered on August 15, but Jorhat police were only informed recently. A bank passbook and a train ticket from Mariani to Delhi were found in her bag, raising suspicions of human trafficking. Her family is in mourning, and villagers are demanding a thorough investigation.

Separately, a 12-year-old boy, Manjit Pegu, went missing in Guwahati on August 31, and no updates have been received despite filing an FIR.
