Money Lender Arrested with Large Cash Haul in Assam Raid

In a successful operation in Assam’s Hailakandi district, a money lender named Tapan Nath, aged 48, was arrested following a raid conducted by a police team led by the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP). The raid, prompted by a complaint, yielded a cash amount of Rs 51,29,900 along with various bank documents. Nath, who has been involved in the money lending profession for years, was apprehended, and legal proceedings have been initiated by the police.
