Murder Suspect Shot While Escaping Custody in Assam

Rahul Hussain, accused of murdering a teenage girl, was shot by police while attempting to escape custody on Monday. He was taken to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital with a bullet wound. The Kamrup police had arrested him for the girl’s murder, whose body was found in water under a culvert on the Bagta-Bholabari road.
