Mysterious Disappearance: Youth Missing near Saraighat Bridge, Family Seeks Government Assistance

A concerning incident unfolded near the new Saraighat Bridge in Amingaon, as a youth, identified as Subrata Kumar Deb Choudhary from Laxmi Nagar in Ganeshpara, Guwahati, went missing on Friday afternoon. The event came to light when his two-wheeler was discovered near the bridge, leading to the initiation of an investigation by Jalukbari police.

Subsequent developments on Saturday revealed that along with the recovered two-wheeler, the city police retrieved the missing youth’s cell phone and money. Choudhary was reported missing at 1:30 p.m. after supposedly leaving to procure supplies for his shop.

As the family grapples with the mysterious disappearance, they have sought assistance from the state government in locating the missing youth.
