Mystery Surrounds Police Constable’s Death at Golaghat Station

In a tragic incident, the lifeless body of police constable Rana Veer Chauren, deployed for election duty in Golaghat, was found in mysterious circumstances within the Golaghat police station premises. Chauren, hailing from Kokrajhar, had been missing for two days before the distressing discovery was made.

The circumstances of Chauren’s demise are unclear, as his body was discovered floating in a pond on the premises. Following the discovery, his body was swiftly taken to Shaheed Kushal Kowar Civil Hospital in Golaghat for a detailed post-mortem examination.
